Our Trip to Europe April-May 2013

By Pete Grant
with the help from Lynda, Bobbi, and Dave

Bobbi had reserved us a spot in a cooking class on Italian food. Now, does one wonder why we would want to go to school at our age -- especially while on a vacation? Well, have no doubts as we found the experience wonderful in addition to learning about pasta making as well as other foods. And we had fun while doing it, and at the end, got to eat all that we had made -- with a bunch of wine, to boot!
Stay tuned.

Lucca

On the drive over to our school, I noticed Lynda was driving 103km/h -- that's 13km/h faster than the limit. However, on the road we were passed by more cars than the number we passed. I guess Italians are fast drivers too -- LOL.

Cooking class

Speaking of the drive over, we passed by some beautiful countryside, stopping a couple of times to capture the scenery in photos, such as on the right. But the weather was very cloudy even though it didn't actually rain the entire day, although it was forecasted.

Oh well, I can't complain about the weather because overall, it's been very good - so far. Let's keep our fingers crossed for more sunshine.

Ok, time to get to our cooking class!
