Page 36 - Last Day
We departed Oulu Thursday evening,
June 23rd, on an overnight train leaving about 10 p.m..
We had made a reservation for a two-person sleeper compartment
(left). We arrived in Helsinki 8:30 a.m. the following
day. We were a day ahead of schedule so we had to find a
hotel for the night -- Hotel Arthur (see below).

Arthur was an especially nice one -- and reasonably
priced to boot. They even had internet access, and the
usual (for Scandinavian hotels) robust breakfast
included.
The next night we spent in a Holiday
Inn near the airport so that we could easily catch
our 8 a.m. flight to London.
